The Weybridge Collection

“ We provide a cultural connection to a great Private Residence Club experience,” says Robert H. Glaze, President and Founder of The Weybridge collection. This collection of homes has a distinct artistic, cultural and interior design appeal as Mr. Glaze, a world traveler, and art collector, has designed all of the interiors himself. “ I have collected great and primitive art for years, and when I decided to create the Collection, it was easy for me know what pieces of original art I would buy, and after that, where it would actually GO in the homes.”

In all of the homes, there are original art collections of famous Native American and Mexican artists and folk artists, including Nocona Burgess, Anthony Chee-Emerson, John Nieto, Hilario Alejo-Madrigal, Neftali Ayunga Suarez and Irma Garcia-Blanco. There is Mata Ortiz pottery from Mexico, and tribal art and textiles from Peru. The libraries in the homes are collections of the best books on the culture, history and artists of the area, both new and old.

“ My personal home in Chicago has original art from Spain, the Czech republic, Bhutan and Ireland – it all works together, and I wanted the interiors in my collection to have the same feel: warm, inviting, interesting.”

Mr Glazes’s Collection spans the Western part of the US, at present. His homes for exchange are in San Miguel de Allende and in Snowmass, Colorado, and his one for fractional purchase is in Tesuque, New Mexico.
